Introduction
In ever changing business environment, managers need to have cross functional perspectives to design quick and suitable responses to the changes happening around. The aim of this programme is to build and hone the cross functional skills and competencies of participants. Who Should Attend?
This programme is meant for Senior and Middle level executives, who want to enhance their general  management  skills.  Middle  management  professionals,  who  have  in  recent  past grown or are like to grow from ranks requiring functional mind set into general management roles.  This programme is useful for Promoters/Owners/Entrepreneurs  of Small and Medium scale enterprises to hone up their general management skills.

Methodology

The programme will use extensive interactive experiential learning methods to meet its objectives. The various tools used to enhance learning shall include role-plays, case studies, individual and group exercises, theme-based discussions and experience sharing.

Dr. S Dasgupta is a Cost Accountant and holds a doctoral degree in strategic management from BITS-Pilani. He has ten years of industry and six years of teaching experience. He has worked in a diverse range of industries, including Karvy Consultants (Financial services), Sangam Healthcare Products (Pharma) and Tecumseh Products India ltd, an American heavy engineering MNC and a global leader in the field of refrigeration and a/c compressors. During his tenure in Tecumseh, he was closely involved with the vendor development team, lean manufacturing team and was in-charge of the costing module in Oracle 11i ERP system. He successfully implemented an Activity Based Costing system in Tecumseh and led Tecumseh’s cost reduction drive for nearly five years through Target and Kaizen costing. His research interests include strategic networks, strategic innovation and strategic cost management. He has taught strategic cost management in MDI Gurgaon and IMT Ghaziabad as a visiting professor

Application or nomination for participation along with programme fee must reach the PDP Office latest by 15 days’ before the date of the programme. Programme fee is to be paid by Demand Draft/Cheque in favour of “Indian Institute of Management Rohtak” payable at any Bank at Rohtak. One can pay the fee through Net Banking. In case of NEFT (to be provided  on request),  kindly intimate  the PDP office with payment  details by sending an email.Online enrolment and payment option is also available. Please access the website, www.iimrohtak.ac.in and click ‘Executive Training (MDP)’ under the ‘Programmes’  head. Click  ‘Program  Calendar’  and  open  this  particular  programme  for  details.  Fill  in  the enrolment form and send it by email. You can pay online.The completed Enrolment Form and payment made by Cheque/Demand Draft/Net Banking /Online mode must reach the below mentioned address at least two weeks prior to the commencement  of the MDP. However,  if seats are available,  one may register one week before the commencement of the MDP.
