Experience

Dr. Kavitha. P hailing from Kerala, received her Ph.D from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and completed her Masters in Commerce from Calicut University. She did Bachelors in Commerce from Calicut University and was among the top three rank holders of the University. She is also a recipient of Junior Research Fellowship. She has worked for more than 5 years in State Bank of India and is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). Her research interest is in the areas of financial intermediation and corporate finance.  She has published research papers on Banking in peer reviewed and ABDC/ABS journals and her thesis essays are under revision in reputed journals. She has co-authored a textbook and a book chapter. She has presented papers at various national and international conferences and has received accolades like Best paper award, Best doctoral paper Award for her work.
