Dr. Abhay Pant is a faculty in the Economics and Public Policy area at Indian Institute of Management Rohtak. He is a fellow (PhD) in economics from Indian Institute of Management Indore and holds MA in financial economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics Pune and B.Sc. in economics from Symbiosis International University Pune. Prior to joining IIM Rohtak, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at International Management Institute Bhubaneswar and O.P Jindal Global University Sonipat. He has also worked as an academic intern at IIM Bangalore. He is the recipient of NSE-IGIDR corporate governance research initiative grant 2017 and one of his cases on Indian banking sector received honourable mention in the ISB-Ivey case competition 2017. He has also served as a reviewer for Journal of Operational Research Society and Health care Management Science.
