Dr. Aditya Kumar Sahu is an Assistant Professor in the Operations Management area at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak. He earned his PhD in Operations Management & Decision Sciences from Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. He holds a M. Tech degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.

He is passionate about deploying better operational practices inside the factory using various tools and techniques of operations management. This has motivated him to work on his thesis titled “Essays on Deployment of Lean Manufacturing Practices in Indian SMEs” during his PhD. He has scholarly publications in various reputed international journals such as Production Planning & Control, Journal of Cleaner Production and Australasian Marketing Journal. His research articles leverage research methodologies such as case-based research, structural equation modelling and systematic literature review. He has also reviewed several articles for reputed journals.

Furthermore, Dr. Sahu has served as one of the resource persons for a 3-Days National Level online workshop on Theory Building, Conceptual Development of Model, Model Robustness and Warp PLS. He is a recipient of GATE scholarship from 2014 to 2016. He has also received fellowship grant from Alessandro Volta Foundation for attending an advanced research summer school held at Lake Como, Italy in 2018.

Dr. Sahu’s research interest includes studies related to behavioral operations management, and operational excellence studies related to lean manufacturing, innovation, industry 4.0 and sustainability in SMEs.
